The People of Los Angeles Are Defending Freedom From the American Gestapo
ICE is literally trying to kidnap children from schools. California's had enough.
ICE Barbie went on Fox News tonight and claimed they’re “arresting terrible people, murderers.”
The reality is that her Gestapo thugs tried to lie their way into elementary schools to snatch children away without their parents’ knowledge.
The reality is that these fascists are using military gear to grab hardworking people out of Home Depots and restaurants.
The reality is that they are repeatedly arresting immigrants obeying the law, attending immigration court hearings and their citizenship interviews.
The reality is that ICE is smashing in windshields of mothers driving their children, because they’re trying to meet the quota of the dead-eyed zombie Goebbels cosplayer of the Trump regime, Stephen Miller. Miller, currently doing battle with the Israeli cabinet for the title of worst Jews on earth, grew up in Santa Monica. In high school, he published an op-ed complaining about bilingual school announcements and generally showing himself to be a massive racist. He is the architect of this ICE policy, aimed not at “arresting illegals” but at terrorizing and de-browning our nation. He wants minorities to disappear. According to the Washington Examiner, a right-wing news outlet with very good sources in the administration, Miller called an emergency meeting of top ICE officials before Memorial Day and berated them.
“Why aren’t you at Home Depot? Why aren’t you at 7-Eleven?” One of the ICE officials stood up and said that the administration’s message was that they are targeting criminals, and that’s what they were doing. “What do you mean you’re going after criminals?”
Miller later appeared on Fox News, stating, “Under President Trump’s leadership, we are looking to set a goal of a minimum of 3,000 arrests for ICE every day, and President Trump is going to keep pushing to get that number up higher each and every single day, so we can get all of the Biden illegals that were flooded into our country for four years out of our country.”
Miller engineered the firing of two ICE officials at the end of the meeting, which then prompted the arrest of 1,662 people the next day, the highest number in ICE history. Just like the Israeli government has done with the Palestinians, the White House deputy chief of staff is unleashing the terror of secret police upon vulnerable people, the same way that Germans did upon their grandparents. It’s the most despicable circle of violence I could ever imagine, the descendant of Holocaust survivors taking on the behavior, demeanor, and strategy of a Nazi SS commander.
It was, in fact, a Home Depot raid in the heavily Hispanic neighborhood of Paramount, which borders Compton (to give those who don’t know the area a point of reference), that set everything off. The people saw laborers trying to earn money for the day being tackled by heavily armored ICE agents and dragged off, and came out spontaneously to protest, just as they had in San Diego, Minneapolis, New York City, and many other places. What’s happening in Los Angeles makes me proud of the city and county I once called home. Pastors, businesspeople, retired folks, students, all of them are out in the streets together. This video, purportedly of actor Wyatt Russell (Kurt and Goldie’s son), is a perfect distillation of what everyone is feeling.

In response, Trump federalized the California National Guard without Governor Gavin Newsom’s consent, and then last night announced he was flying 700 Marines to Los Angeles to “restore order,” when in reality the order has been shattered by his policies. The disorder started when militarized thugs, without badges, wearing masks, and often without cause, just started grabbing anyone who looks Hispanic. Citizen or not, documented or not, just snatch them and let them go later if you’re wrong, all so that freak Stephen Miller gets his 3,000 arrests a day.
Saturday, our aspiring dictator is holding a military parade to celebrate his birthday. There’s a lot of potential outcomes, not least among them the fact that D.C. is not geologically suited for a bunch of tanks and armored vehicles, and quite a bit of concern that the man is eager to start a civil war, using Los Angeles in all of its messy, wonderful melting pot glory as his Fort Sumter. On that note, I think it’s appropriate here to end with the words of a very famous son of Los Angeles, Axl Rose.
